Buline Trail

We wanted to go on a nice bike ride at my parents - and I think I found a great one - we did about 5 regular trail miles -- then another 3 at the park - I didn't realize how far they went - wow no wonder they were tired - the trail miles were harder than one may have realized - on the gravel - H1 took a huge fall on some loose gravel - we used one whole bottle of water cleaning it out (so many little rocks) - but it was worth it - some ointment and a band aid and she was good to go.

On the trail is the location of the subcontinental divide (Water falling west of this crest of land goes into the Fox River Watershed and eventually into the Gulf of Mexico via the Mississippi River. Water falling on the east side goes into the Menomonee River watershed and enters the St. Lawrence Seaway by flowing through the Great Lakes.) - which is what we were heading for - but we didn't get there.

Here is the crew. My SIL is a doctoral candidate at Marquette and came with us.

If you look real close you can see them pretty far down the trail Hannah - already tired enough at the beginning of the ride that the nuke and blanket were already in placeAT the end of the ride - totally out!
