A little background... I am forever using the term stuff to H2. "H2, go put on some underwear - I don't need to see your stuff." When we are seriously talking about it, I say privates or penis, but I do say the above a lot some mornings when he is taking forever to get dressed or at night before bed....
So you want a H1 funny? We are at the brownie scout event - we went to the nutcracker. We were trying to sit by another troop - so we were in the 1st - 4th rows.... The level at well... let's just say VERY close to see exactly what the costumes were and what was UNDER the costumes....
I noticed some well endowed male dancers and was kind of shocked - but honestly it was RIGHT there.
I was wondering if H1 would say anything....
We go through almost the whole show - we are on the 2nd to last dance... and H1 leans over to me... "Mom, do you see the front of that guy? His stuff is like all out there... he needs to put it away."
Oh yes my dear - please remember that well... always tell a man that he needs to put his "stuff" away... at least until you are married.

Update on Lazyman Triathlon
I need to post it all - but I think I am getting close, except for the bike. UGH - I need to get that done!
Update on H3
Her counts as of yesterday are wonderful!!!
WBC ~13,000
Neutrophils - Bacterial fighters 24% (they were at 0, then 2%... so they have gone up a ton)
Viral 72% (still fighting a little something)
(and a smidge of other stuff)
her platlettes are up ove 3X to around 370,000
whew.... she still doens't know what virus it really was but - at this point, she is doing a ton better!!!
Whooo hooo

Update on H3
Her counts are up - to the 6K level - which is good - but her platelettes are still really low and her bacteria fighting WBC (as opposed to her virus fighting WBC) are up - now at a 2% instead of the 0 the other day.She broke out into hives on her face from what we think is the antibiotics and broke out into what they think is a vral rash for the rest of her body. The rash is a good thing because it indicates that she may be on the tail on a the virus. So we retest in a week and half to see if she is still mending or if it is something more serious.

No days right now too much going on
H3 has been sick, and I have had company in from out east
I am really freaking out - H3 has had a nasty temp for the last 3-4 days
Took her into the peds this morning – she had LOW WBC count and within that - NO Bacterial fighting blood cells – none – nada… this is scary. She also has low platelettes
only word I hear Luekemia - EVEN though - she is said they didn't find Luekemia blood cells - but that the signs are there so they did look for them. She couldn’t promise me it wasn’t Luekemia – but she wants to wait 2 days and test again to see if her counts dramatically change in two days and then GOD WILLING – it may only be a REALLY bad virus. But the low WBC count is scary… and the no bacteria WBC is REALLY scary.
I have a call into my DR today she comes in the the afternoon I saw a different dr today
What scares me is I know she is not OK - I know she is sick. As a mom, I KNOW something is wrong. What it is I don't know - but I know she is feeling awful. She is not herself. Her smiles don't even make it to her eyes.

Day 6
Haven't done anything yet... hmmm could it be because I was at the hospital last night for severe chest pain that radiated through my shoulder and into my back. EKG showed nothing. Chest Xray showed nothing. Dr. thought it could have been upper GI stress. Had to drink Mylanta with Lidocaine. Yummmm.... ewww... Still have it today.
The interesting thing... I went in once with this before. One month before I quit my super stressful job. Hmmm... for those who know me well, you know all the crap I have been going through lately... Stress could be the cause of it.

Went to the park this morning
Early in the AM - it feels so nice to be there. And I LOVE being the only family there sometimes. I let Dante run after the kids on the soccer fields and I get such enjoyment watching the kids run and Dante run after them. There is just something about childhood all wrapped up in that image. Children running and a dog running along.
Yesterday, I tried to take the kids to the Y and that was a bust. I worked out. THAT was good, BUT B3 cried most of the time, (on and off), B2 was sad he didn't get to go to the outside playground, and B1 was fine with it (she did get to go to the outside playground -- they split up 0-16 months, 16 M - 3 Y, 3-5 Y and 6-10 years.... if I would have stayed longer, Hunter would have been able to go.
I am going to try and take them to the pool today - should be fun. I'll pack lunch and we will go.
B2 is amazing me - for a kid that didn't really like to go underwater - he LOVES to now. In a day - boom - he is diving everywhere. Cannot get that figured out. I like it, but wow. Night and Day.

The pool

took all thre kidlets to the pool today - it was fun - but wow... lots of work - Berry would not nap to save herself today - and tonight 11:30 PM she has been up 3 times already
This is where I think we will spend A LOT of time this summer - should be interesting as the big kids will want to be in the big pool - not this little pool (what is pictured)
Lots of junk going on here - but I will update when I am not in such a crappy mood.

This past month
I swear there has been a black cloud over my head - from the dog at the emergency vet (on a Sunday with 3 kids... and just me) to the white car breaking (just a muffler) to the van breaking$2700 transmission (on our way camping, with the camper, 3 kids + dog, 90 Degree heat, side of the road, cell phone is on the counter at home), to my purse getting stolen, to... just so many little things... then the B day party (water party) having a sudden 30 DEGREE drop in temp (not kidding) just everything - it has sucked. So much that I was physically feeling ill about everything...
BUT then I read two blogs today and I think.... I can hug my kids tonight before bed, my kids are healthy, I have a roof over my head and I have a good husband....
All the other stuff sucks, but it pales in comparison to what others are going through.
Lyn's Lesson for the Day:
Be Thankful!
