A twisted pelvis

And it rears its ugly head again. For those of you who do not recall the struggles I had during H3's pregnancy you can read the above; for those who do recall.... ARGHHHH it is rearing its ugle head again.

I still have pretty severe pain each month when AF graces my door; but I had at least three good weeks a month.... They in May it got worse, to the point that I am standing and the pain starts shooting up so bad that I am almost brought to my knees and I have to do deep breaths to get control. OK I NEED to do something about this.... After a month of hemming and hawing -- fast forward to yesterday, I had a FEW eposides of the bring me to my knees pain, once I again, I am like, OK I need to get this looked at. and finally last night being at the pool with just the two big kids, I was longing to get in and swim laps ans I was too afraid to, because I KNEW how bad I would hurt.

The light was shinging down on me today...
My MIL gives me her Chiro's number (AGAIN) and I call, totally thinking I wouldn't get through/in... whatever, I really wasn't in a positive state of mind, BUT I got through, AND was able to speak with the chiro to make sure he understood the issues and knew what he was talking about. THEN they were able to get me in today! Which the receptionist was like... wow, this doesn't normally happen.

So we go over everything... And then he does his exam... His first comments, "Wow. Wow." OK that is NOT what I wanted to hear. He was like, "Your pelvis is completely twisted." In the back of my mind, I recalled my PT talking about that, but I think since I was pregnant, there wasn't much that they could do about it. So we focused on what we could do.

He went through and explained how my left side of my pelvis was actually INCHES forward and turned in... he showed how it all worked with my lower back and the pubic symphysis joint. His first line of defence, he said was to correct the alignment of the left hip with my lower back. I was so scared. I mean you hear so much about chiros.... Ummm yeah. It was freaky it sounds like a bunch of clicks and then a pop. It didn't hurt, but it was sooo powerful. I layed down and I realized immediately what I was straight. It felt sooo weird. He did some extra work and I need to see him tomorrow.

I am a little sore right now, but things will get better. The only exercise that he says I should do is bike with minimal resistance. No swimming, no long walks... not until he feels the joints are where they need to be.

WOW! I hope it helps! I am a little afraid of chiros. Its the cracking thing. But it sounds like that's exactly what you need.
