We went to the falls - definitely not as much water as last time, but still pretty none the less. We then made the mile hike to the Mississippi River. Not that impressive of a point in the river, but still there. We went without adequate water, since we weren't planning on actually making the full 2 mile round trip. Whoops... I kept hearing Angie.... stupid people - why don't they have water....
The kids made the hike well, Hunter did a few falls, (helps that we were by a creek to wash him off so I could assess the damage) but with good coaching, he is realizing how he needs to handle falls on a hike and how to avoid them.
We ate Lunch at the sea salt eatery - all the kids liked the fish... me... nope.... the kids enjoyed the bubbles
